Fat Burning Food
Have you ever wished for foods that make you lose weight? Well, they exist and are called fat burning foods or negative calorie foods. This is food that consumes more calories than the amount of calories it brings, to put it in a simple way.
This is food that you can well integrate into your diet and so you can eat them without running the risk of adding extra calories that will increase your weight. Although it may seem like a logical idea, eating fat burning foods alone is not healthy as they don’t bring the necessary essential nutrients to keep our body functioning well.
Where to find fat burning food?
You can find it in these fruits: Grapefruit, mango, watermelon, papaya, cranberries, apples, blueberries and cantaloupe.
And also in these vegetables: Garlic, broccoli, zucchini, radish, spinach, asparagus, cucumber, onion, celery and lettuce.
Negative calorie food as I said before, is better used as a snack. So for example if you feel hungry, you can grab a mango and eat it without feeling guilty of adding more calories to your existing diet.
Other food that can help you lose fat
Adding protein in your diet is also a good way to cut down the calories. Why? Because our body uses more energy to digest protein. This means that you will burn extra calories to be able to digest proteins. Among the sources of protein you can find: eggs, beans, low fat dairy products, oatmeal, lean cuts of meat, poultry and fish. Protei is also great if we follow a stomach exercises program.
Olive oil is another food that will help you lose fat and proof that not all fats are bad! Olive oil contains monosaturated fat, which has health benefits. Some say that just a spoon of olive oil a day can do wonders for your body.
Keep this information at hand when preparing your diet, and remember that it is not all about WHAT you eat, but also about HOW you eat it. A chicken breast boiled is healthy, but fried is entirely another story.
